Local amenities

Gambles Farm is in walking distance to various family run and branded restaurants and pubs. Our local pub is owned by Greene King, which is named ‘The Apple Tree’. Built in traditional Cotswold stone this old pub is an excellent welcoming pub with a friendly atmosphere and helpful staff with a super inglenook fireplace and relaxing sofas to rest up. Food is served from an extensive menu and daily changing specials board which can be sampled in the restaurant area or elsewhere in the pub. There is an outside children's play area to keep our younger clientele amused in the summer months whilst their carers have a chance to make good conversation. We have a strong regulars trade who come to enjoy the well stocked bar and weekly entertainment. To find out more please click here:

Greene King also owns another local pub, which is named ‘The Rising Sun’. Perched on top of Cleeve Hill, The Rising Sun offers its own beer garden, which presents spectacular views of the Cotswolds and is a favourite among the locals. The Pub is also a restaurant which offers a variety of home-cooked and pub food to suit all needs. To find out more please click here:
